Teaching classical music to little ones can be intimidating. How can you engage littles in classical music? Give them Maestro Classics!! These CD’s and the accompanying activity books bring music to life for kids of all ages. Over the past few years, we have had the opportunity to review a few of their CDs, and we’ve purchased a few more. They are excellent, and I highly recommend them for your homeschool or classroom use. You won’t be sorry!
Titles Available Include:
- Peter and the Wolf
- Carnival of the Animals
- The Story of Swan Lake
- The Soldier’s Tale
- Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel
- My Name is Handel: The Story of Water Music
- The Tortoise and the Hare
- Casey at the Bat
- The Sorcerer’s Apprentice
- Juanita the Spanish Lobster
Each title can be purchased as a CD with an activity book included or as a n MP3 download with a PDF activity book. The activity books contain information about the composer, the music, and activities such as crossword puzzles, word searches, decoding, and more.
In addition to all of the fun stuff included in the activity books, Maestro Classics even has an entire section of Educational Materials on their site. This section includes lesson plans, projects, and ideas for teaching across the curriculum with the Maestro Classics CDs.
If you’re looking for a fun and engaging way to introduce your children to classical music, you’ll want to explore Maestro Classics. If you’re already a fan of Maestro Classics, which title is your favorite?
**I swiped pics from my other blog since they were already “pretty.” That’s why there’s another watermark on them. 🙂

We reviewed Handel and Sorcerer, and I wanted to bring them on our last road trip to listen to again, but I can’t find them! I’m sure I “put them somewhere safe” lol.
