My sweet girl is a book hound! I read to her before she was born, and I still read to her today – at 11! She reads like me. She has several books “in progress” at once. She has one in the car, one on her nightstand, one on the kitchen table, and one she’s reading for literature. When she was younger, she would sleep with piles of picture books around her. I would read 5-6 each night at bedtime, because she just couldn’t get enough. We had some favorites that we read over and over and over again. We had some that I ended up packing away for my grandkids, because they became special memories for us.

Enjoyed this list. I’ve used almost all of these working with children. I have only boys, but I’ve read some of these to and with them as well. Great site. Learned about you from Hearts for Home Blog Hop. 🙂
